Project Haystack and Data Modeling for Equipment Systems
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Founded in 2011, Project Haystack is an open source initiative to streamline working with IoT data, helping the industry turn operational data into actionable information. Used across millions of square feet of real estate and thousands of facilities, Haystack standardizes semantic data models and web services with the goal of making it easier to unlock value from the vast quantity of information being generated by the smart devices that permeate our homes, buildings, factories, and cities.
Join us as founding members of Project Haystack, John Petze and Marc Petock, discuss where the industry is today with smart building data standards for applications such as automation, control, energy, HVAC, lighting, and other environmental systems, as well as the importance of data interoperability.
