  • Danielle Radden

Danielle Radden didn’t take the straight path into smart buildings—she took the scenic route. With a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in biochemistry, she originally set out to study neuropsychology. As life often does, it took Danielle down a different path. After running a successful book publishing company for over a decade, she pivoted into the world of smart buildings five years ago as the Product Marketing Manager at Switch Automation. That’s where she discovered her passion for making buildings not only more efficient, but more intelligent.

Since then, Danielle has been on a mission to deepen her expertise in the built environment, taking coursework through Smart Buildings Academy and connecting with thought leaders through communities like Nexus Labs. Danielle is the VP of Global Revenue Operations for Facil.AI. She thrives on turning complex building systems into conversations that people actually understand (and maybe even enjoy).

When Danielle is not translating BACnet into plain English or championing smarter HVAC strategies, she’s at home in Colorado with her husband, their four kids, and a house full of animals that may or may not have figured out how to bypass the smart thermostat.

He has a diverse background in engineering, marketing, product management, and sales across industrial, commercial, and residential markets. His writing has been published by magazines such as PM Engineer and Plumbing and Mechanical, and he has been a guest speaker for multiple American Society of Plumbing Engineer chapters, the University of Florida, the New England Waterworks Association, and the New York Rural Water Association. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Pennsylvania, plays the fiddle, and was into baking sourdough bread before it was cool.

Dave Wagner.jpg
Treasurer
Dave Wagner

David has worked with Tyco/Grinnell Supply Sales, supporting 12 locations with AR, AP, inventory, and month-end closing. The relationships from Tyco/Grinnell led to a controller opportunity with Fire Fab, selling fire protection supplies and fabrication and taking a 40,000-square-foot warehouse into a 21-million-dollar company. In 2008, the company sold, and David continued to help with the transition until 2009.

In 2012, David was involved with purchasing and running a local coffee/café in Edina that he still owns today. However, in 2017, David shifted from running the coffee/café to helping Shaughnessy Flooring and Golden Hands Flooring improve efficiencies, profitability, process flows, and HR functions and getting the accounting and operational systems into RFMS software.

Agreement on Non-Collusion & Antitrust

  • Building Intelligence Group participants must operate under antitrust compliance and will not engage in any activities that could result in any anticompetitive activities.

  • Examples:

    • Price fixing – including components of price and price-related terms like discounts, credit terms, and trade-in allowances

    • Market allocation – where firms agree to stay out of each others’ markets so they don’t compete

    • Bid rigging – where the parties agree to not bid against each other

    • Some group boycotts – competitors get together to enforce a price-fixing agreement or harm a rival
