Join us for an enlightening evening where the future of healthcare facilities takes center stage. AMFP GNY, BIG NYC, and SMPS-NY are thrilled to bring you a joint event that will spotlight cutting-edge technologies transforming healthcare facilities. This is your opportunity to engage with top healthcare facility operators and builders who are at the forefront of integrating innovative technologies in their operations. This event is exclusively for members of any of the three organizations and completely free.  

Event Schedule: 

5:30-6:15 PM: Networking      

   - Kick off the evening with informal networking. Enjoy a selection of snacks and drinks while connecting with industry peers, experts, and enthusiasts.  

6:15-6:50 PM: Technology Showcase Presentations      

   - Hear firsthand from leading healthcare operators about their experiences and insights on implementing advanced technologies in healthcare facilities. These short, impactful presentations will cover a range of topics including HVAC analytics, space utilization measurement systems, and carrier robots.  

6:50-7:20 PM: Facilitated Breakout Discussions      

   - Dive deeper into the subjects that interest you in our breakout discussion groups. These facilitated sessions are perfect for sharing ideas, asking questions, and engaging in meaningful dialogues about lessons learned from implementations and the future of healthcare technology.  

7:20-7:30 PM: Closing Remarks and Acknowledgements

Speaker Bios: 

Erwin Van Hout - With over 20 years of business and technology infrastructure experience, Erwin is a futurist and an enterprise architect who leads the technology transformation for Project Horizon at SickKids, a campus redevelopment plan to build an inspired hospital of the future and transform how care is delivered. Erwin is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies, innovation, and foresight to enable, empower, and enhance the staff, physicians, researchers, patients, and families at SickKids.

Dan Schwartz - Dan is an expert in extracting insights from all kinds of data to drive better real estate decisions. Dan has a proven track record in implementing technologies and strategies to enhance occupant experience with nearly 15 years of experience across different real estate verticals. At NYU Langone he's currently focused on innovative methods for capturing and analyzing space utilization data to optimize space allocations and inform capital decisions.

Jonathan Liang - has more than 8 years of experience on the operations team at Memorial Sloan Kettering. In his current role he's working on implementing analytics and optimization technologies to improve energy efficiency across the campus. Jonathan is a Certified Energy Manager and has NYC licenses for High Pressure Steam and Refrigeration Operation.
